Hockey Is Back!

Message from Dave, Club President:
I hope everyone has kept themselves safe and well (and fit?) over the past couple of months?
We have some good news, we have a couple of dates to return to hockey!
Juniors
Adam will be in contact directly, but we plan for evening sessions to return on the 30th March.
Seniors
Senior training will resume a week later on the 6th April.
Spring/Summer league games. I intend to set up a County-wide League starting with games on Saturday 17th April. Can you please let either your Captain, or myself know, if you wish to play in these games?
Subs
Before we return to training, can we ask that everyone who hasn't paid their annual subs please do so? The club continued to offer training sessions whilst we were unable to play weekend matches, and as such we had no money coming into the club as we weren't collecting match fees.
We are aware that the season has been very disrupted, and as mentioned in previous emails, for those that pay their subs they will receive discount off of next seasons fees. This offer still stands as it's the fairest way for everyone under the circumstances. If anyone is struggling to pay, then please make contact with myself or Adam, and we will do what we can to support you to ensure you don't miss out.
We have decided, again to try be fair to all, that training sessions and spring/summer matches will only be available to those that are up to date with their subs. The extra weeks break between the return dates should give everyone chance to prepare accordingly. Again, please make contact with myself or Adam if there are circumstances that make this difficult.
Covid Registers and procedures
As before all players need to be on the England Hockey Covid register before they can train or play. If you have filled this in before, you don't need to do it again. If you aren't sure then again, just drop me an email and I'll confirm that you are okay to attend.
All the procedures for reducing Covid risks are as we had before.
